HealthTrust — a Nexwell product
Privacy Policy
HealthTrust is a browser extension that audits a medical or dental clinic page's SEO, trust signals, and AI-citation readiness — entirely inside your browser.
Effective 28 August 2026 · Applies to the HealthTrust browser extension (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, Opera Add-ons, Yandex Browser)
The short version: HealthTrust does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Every audit runs locally in your browser. Nothing about the pages you visit, or you, is sent to Nexwell or anyone else.
What HealthTrust reads
When you click "Run audit" on a page, HealthTrust reads that page's own visible content and metadata — headings, meta tags, links, structured data (JSON-LD), and similar publicly rendered information. This happens only when you explicitly trigger it; HealthTrust never runs automatically in the background.
What HealthTrust never reads
The audit is built to structurally exclude anything you or a site visitor might type or store privately:
Where your data goes
Nowhere. The scoring engine that computes your HealthTrust Score runs entirely inside your browser — no page content, URL, or audit result is transmitted to any server, including Nexwell's own. There is no account, no sign-in, and no tracking or analytics of any kind inside the extension.
Permissions, explained
HealthTrust requests the minimum browser permissions needed to function, and nothing broader:
activeTabLets the extension read the current tab's content — but only after you click "Run audit," and never any other tab.
scriptingLets the extension inject the small script that performs the audit and applies the optional on-page highlight when you tap a finding.
HealthTrust does not request host_permissions — it cannot access sites in the background, and there is nothing to opt out of.
Plan entitlements
Without creating an account, you can see your full HealthTrust Score and your first three critical findings. Upgrading to PRO unlocks the complete finding list with exact fixes and DOM locations for every issue — that purchase and any account details are handled by Nexwell's billing system, covered separately under Nexwell's own privacy policy — the audit engine itself still runs locally either way.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date above. Material changes — such as introducing server-side analysis — will be called out clearly here before they ship.
